Our TH-U2 is a tungsten halogen light source that is optimized for fiber optic coupling. Constructed in rugged aluminum, the light source is controlled by the spectrometer, including power supplied to it from the spectrometer.

The lamp housing has a cuvette holder that can accommodate up to 20 mm cuvettes. Adjacent to the cuvette holder is space for an optical filter. The bulb can be de-rated for longer life time.
